Approximation methods to embed the non-integer order models in bond graphs

چکیده
In this paper, a methodology to approximate a class of in3nite dimensional models by a bond graph model is investigated. This procedure is designed to preserve the passivity of the initial model. Through interconnections of passive elementary blocks (passivity is stable under interconnections), a 3nite dimensional passive approximate model is constructed. This 3nite dimensional model, if need be, is reduced thanks to a Krylov–Lanczos process. Finally, a bond graph realization of this reduced-order model is given. An example (a fractional power pole model) and an application (the CRONE suspension) demonstrate the usefulness of the whole approximation procedure. The paper ends with the discussion of the reduced-order model initial conditions determination problem in the non-integer order case. ? 2003 Published by Elsevier B.V.

OPTIMIZATION OF A PRODUCTION LOT SIZING PROBLEM WITH QUANTITY DISCOUNT
Dynamic lot sizing problem is one of the significant problem in industrial units and it has been considered by many researchers. Considering the quantity discount in purchasing cost is one of the important and practical assumptions in the field of inventory control models and it has been less focused in terms of stochastic version of dynamic lot sizing problem. In this paper, stochastic dyn...
متن کاملOPTIMAL ANALYSIS OF NON-REGULAR GRAPHS USING THE RESULTS OF REGULAR MODELS VIA AN ITERATIVE METHOD
In this paper an efficient method is developed for the analysis of non-regular graphs which contain regular submodels. A model is called regular if it can be expressed as the product of two or three subgraphs. Efficient decomposition methods are available in the literature for the analysis of some classes of regular models. In the present method, for a non-regular model, first the nodes of th...

متن کاملExact Mixed Integer Programming for Integrated Scheduling and Process Planning in Flexible Environment
This paper presented a mixed integer programming for integrated scheduling and process planning. The presented process plan included some orders with precedence relations similar to Multiple Traveling Salesman Problem (MTSP), which was categorized as an NP-hard problem. These types of problems are also called advanced planning because of simultaneously determining the appropriate sequence and m...
متن کاملAn Integer Programming Model and a Tabu Search Algorithm to Generate α-labeling of Special Classes of Quadratic Graphs
First, an integer programming model is proposed to find an α-labeling for quadratic graphs. Then, a Tabu search algorithm is developed to solve large scale problems. The proposed approach can generate α-labeling for special classes of quadratic graphs, not previously reported in the literature. Then, the main theorem of the paper is presented. We show how a problem in graph theory c...
